First up on GirlsTalkBack we had up and coming Irish band ‘SOUNDPROOF’!! The band is made up of three brothers Ste, Neil and Chris and a best friend Rosie together writing creative melodies full of harmonies and catchy chorus! The guys come from the north of Dublin and describe themselves as a melodic rock band!! They have been together for over three and a half years now and although the music industry is a tough act to get into it would seem that these guys were born to do. They grew up surrounded by the industry and only recently found out that front man Danny from successful Irish band The Script is in fact their second cousin!! They played in Crawdaddy nightclub last Saturday which was a huge success and have an upcoming gig in Eamon Doran’s this Saturday so the guys are really starting to make their mark. The gig this Saturday is free in so make sure to pop in and have a listen to the guys doing what they do best-performing live!!
Soundproof played ‘shoot me’ and ‘only by the night’ for us in studio and they were fantastic. They also left us a few copies of their EP so we will make sure to give a few away to the listeners on next weeks show. Make sure to tune in for that competition!!!
