May 18th Girls Talk Back

This afternoons show was absolutely jam packed! The most notable interview was with Frank who had been recently let go from his call centre position. This wasn't just any call centre though, he , in fact, manned the sex lines. You may ask is there really a market for women availing of this service? but thing is he wasn't speaking to women but men! Men who thought they were speaking to a female!!Frank had a natural talent as a voiceover artist and according to the client would tailor his character to there particular needs. We couldn't resist asking him for a few renditions and he kindly agreed. We heard from Eileen, a forty something-year old from the mid lands and also from Karen an eighteen year old from Rathfarnham. Not surprisingly we got a great response to it and the GTB crew found it hugely entertaining.

The Museum of Style Icons in Newbridge Co. Kildare launched the new Marilyn Monroe exhibition last Friday! We chatted to Phil Donnelly, Marketing Manager of Newbridge Silverware, who told us why this exhibition is not to be missed!!!

This new exhibition is home to some of Marilyn's most notable belongings and definitely is worth a visit! Unfortunately the famous billowing white dress is not amongst the collection, but with 150 items once belonging to the Hollywood Starlet, there is more than enough to give you a sense of her life and glittering career.
Entry into the Museum of Style Icons is absolutely free!! It's also home to memorabilia from Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Gretta Garbo and lots lots more , so gets your skates on and make a day of it!!
